not crash when mailing session logs
Mudrammer consistently crashes when you try to email a session log. This seems like a pretty severe bug.
18 votesYup! Egg on my face.
I believe this crash is specific to mailing a session log when there has not yet been anything logged. If you’ve enabled logging and actually received some text, things should work fine.

Have better integration with iPad Pro keyboards
I know that the iPad Pro is brand new, but the current behavior of the "bluetooth keyboard" toggle causes the QuickType suggestion bar to overlay the text input field, so you can't see what you are typing. I don't know if this also happens with Bluetooth keyboards in iOS 9 or it is just a feature of the new smart keyboard link on the Pro.
One stop gap solution would be to just float the text entry box a little bit above the bottom of the screen, since the suggestions seem to be an 'overlay'.
17 votesThanks for mudding with MUDRammer!
You’re seeing the shortcut bar, a new feature in iOS 9. You can hide this bar by disabling “Shortcuts" under iOS Settings → General → Keyboard.

have more configurable triggers.
I would kind of like a more configurable trigger system. Example.
Part one
A toggle that can set a trigger to only go off once against multiples of the same string. For example when I backstab with dual wield on aard I get 2 lines of "Your backstab" and my next atk skill is set to go off when it sees that I backstabbed something and ends up outputting my next skill 2x. Sometimes with passive second attack/third attack ability I can get up to like 4x lines of an skill output and the trigger will go off 2. 3'…13 votesLots of great ideas here. Thanks!

Triggers tied to Tickers
First off, great job on Tickers! Question: Could the tickers be tied into Triggers? Example: Every minute that passes equates to an hour in my MUD. If I could know just before a minute passes, I could make my character more effective. I could set a Trigger for the text "The sun comes up." that would start my Ticker of 50 seconds. At the end of the Ticker I would fire a command that tells me "Tick in 10 seconds!" allowing me, if I'm able, to perform some tasks just before the tick occurs.

How would you want to set and update variables? As part of a trigger firing? In a special Variables page? Both?

Quick complete
One of the things I like about Mudlet is typing in part of a command and then hitting the up arrow to cycle through times I've written it out before.
Basically, a * search function when you hit the last command button when you have something typed in.4 votesGreat idea!

Background Notifications
It would nice if you could setup triggers to send notifications to the device if MUDRammer is running in the background.
33 votesYes! Running your triggers while MUDRammer is in the background is something that may be newly possible with iOS 7.
iOS is unfortunately very particular about what apps can do while they’re in the background. This is one reason why it’s so challenging to reliably maintain your connection while MUDRammer is backgrounded.
I am still investigating how this might work, or whether it’s fully feasible. Stay tuned…

Option to use touch arrows for navigation
Radial is handy but not practical for very long paths.
4 votesWhat does this mean? What is a ‘touch arrow’ ?
If you have an external bluetooth keyboard, you can use CONTROL+the arrow keys to navigate.

Extendable Quad
I like the idea of the quad, the way it notifies of activity in your open windows... What I don't like, is that you're limited to only having 4 sessions open at once. Is there any way to let it extend beyond that? Or even if the quad itself can't, at least let me have more worlds connected that just fall off the end of what's visible at a glance.
5 votesYou are the first to ask for more than 4 max open worlds! :)
There is no hard limit here, but more connections open will generally mean more battery consumed. I probably went with 4 because it lends itself to the world status image (“quad”) being visible at a glance. Do you commonly find yourself in need of more than 4 open connections?

That Top Bar
Sometimes it ends up blending with the app. So you'll see the top bar, and the app will act like the top bar isn't there. More a nuisance, but a fix would be nice ^^
1 voteHmm, not entirely sure what you mean here. Can you send me a screenshot?

Export & Import
Me again. I know you've said that iCloud is a pain for syncing triggers, aliases, and whatnot. Would a export/import function within the app work (like a comma separated text file)? My aliases, triggers, and highlights are getting fairly lengthy and manually keeping them reconciled between my iPad and iPhone is difficult.

Alphabetizing triggers, aliases, gags, and tickers is a great idea and it’s on my list.
A few people have asked about MUDRammer for Mac. MUDRammer is my personal project in my spare time, and I don’t mean to sound crass, but it would be helpful for me to know: how much would you pay for MUDRammer for OS X?

Keystroke Recording & Mapping
I think a nice feature would be to record a series of keystrokes and then be able to save them as an alias. This would help when trying to remember how to get from one point to another distant point in a MUD. Currently, I have to write all my keystrokes down. Maybe a simple record button in the input bar?
Eventually, this feature could be further implemented into making a graphical map of the area as we trudge around our various MUDs. I realize that this would probably be a major undertaking but I think it would end up…
9 votesGreat! I really like the record/playback idea.

Bars...
Health, mana, balance, equilibrium, endurance bars. Those things I would love to see from it. Also in/out up/down on the navigation bit.
2 votesThese are highly dependent on your particular MU*. :)
If your world supports MXP, then this is captured as part of the MXP idea. Or did you have another mechanism in mind here?

Log to Dropbox
I keep all my MU logs in Dropbox folders, it'd be awesome if MUDRammer could log all my sessions there automatically.
11 votesA fine idea! I will have a look at the Dropbox SDK.
