Have better integration with iPad Pro keyboards
I know that the iPad Pro is brand new, but the current behavior of the "bluetooth keyboard" toggle causes the QuickType suggestion bar to overlay the text input field, so you can't see what you are typing. I don't know if this also happens with Bluetooth keyboards in iOS 9 or it is just a feature of the new smart keyboard link on the Pro.
One stop gap solution would be to just float the text entry box a little bit above the bottom of the screen, since the suggestions seem to be an 'overlay'.
Thanks for mudding with MUDRammer!
You’re seeing the shortcut bar, a new feature in iOS 9. You can hide this bar by disabling “Shortcuts" under iOS Settings → General → Keyboard.

It’s 2019 and we still have no good support for external iPad Pro keyboards. I use the Logitech iPad Pro keyboard that Apple sells. It works with other things, but not with this. :(

I would love if this were to happen. When using a bluetooth keyboard, i cannot see the text line as i type. This is very annoying, as i like to proofread as i type.

So much yes, I came here specifically looking for THIS. Thank you!

As a follow up, it doesn't seem like it is using the new soft keyboard. Is this just a general iOS 9 compatibility issue?

Ah -- that helps!
Still, it would be cool if the input window on MUDRammer floated above the shortcut bar. It does in Pocket MUD, but I vastly prefer your app. (It's great!)
