I know that the iPad Pro is brand new, but the current behavior of the "bluetooth keyboard" toggle causes the QuickType suggestion bar to overlay the text input field, so you can't see what you are typing. I don't know if this also happens with Bluetooth keyboards in iOS 9 or it is just a feature of the new smart keyboard link on the Pro.
One stop gap solution would be to just float the text entry box a little bit above the bottom of the screen, since the suggestions seem to be an 'overlay'.14 votes
Thanks for mudding with MUDRammer!
You’re seeing the shortcut bar, a new feature in iOS 9. You can hide this bar by disabling “Shortcuts" under iOS Settings → General → Keyboard.
Long sets of walking paths are a pain on iOS. Alias helps, but you still have to manually type n;n;n;n; and so on.
A speedwalk would be a speciality alias where you input the string of dirs and the app sorts it out.
For example 4nws3w2s would render out into cardinals divided by semicolons.13 votes
It'd be nice if mud rammed could group certain triggers together. This way, complex multi-part triggers could be turned on and off with a single Enable/Disable slider.
Love Mudrammer!8 votes
My dark theme will be complete when the entire bottom row command bar is grey and black. That mixed with the dark keyboard would make it perfect at night.
Thanks in advance!4 votes
Would be great if MudRammer could have a wait function (i.e. wait(seconds)). This would work when you have to wait when running x number of rooms before your stamina returns, or, wait until a spell has been finish casting before another spell can be started since the MUD does not allow you stack spells and introduced a delay before casting one spell and another.
This function could be used in triggers, alias, and timers. For example, alias home w;w;w;w;w;wait(4);w;w;n;d. Or, alias spells firewall;wait(15);frostwall;wait(15).
Aside, thank you for a great client. Use it all the time on the iPhone.20 votes
This might seem kind of odd, but when I use a bluetooth keyboard I don't want to have to tap on the input box every time I open the app after it has been closed (I.E. from the multitasking bar, or similar.(I don't know about when I turn off and back on my device, but It might happen then also.).). Please excuse the odd punctuation, it was just a guess.5 votes
If its possible, would like the ability to be able to add custom sounds maybe from dropbox or something so we can have more trigger sound options.8 votes
As an Android user, I would love to see MUDRammer on Android devices in the future. :)22 votes
A favorites list in case you connect to certain muds more often than others.1 vote
Not sure if this is the proper place to suggest, but FlexibleSurvival.com on port 2000 is another MU* to add to the stock world list.1 vote
With it filled in for pre-loaded worlds, so we can tap on it and find more info.1 vote
I would kind of like a more configurable trigger system. Example.
A toggle that can set a trigger to only go off once against multiples of the same string. For example when I backstab with dual wield on aard I get 2 lines of "Your backstab" and my next atk skill is set to go off when it sees that I backstabbed something and ends up outputting my next skill 2x. Sometimes with passive second attack/third attack ability I can get up to like 4x lines of an skill output and the trigger will go off 2. 3' 4 times lol.
The easier option on dev side would be to add a turn off after trigger toggle. So a trigger can be set to trigger once and turn the trigger off.
Then Global trigger reset toggle that can be on a trigger so that it internally triggers the reset of all turned off triggers. And send the next command which would be trip. Therefore starting the loop again. This trigger itself can be set to initiate once then off so it doesn't get stuck on the last atk.
Backstab triggers once then off.
Trip triggers once then off.
Black Root triggers once than off.
Circle triggers once then off.
Burnt marbu triggers once then off.
Last trigger is set to trigger off last atk "your marbu jet". Set to trigger once than off but also has the global reset toggle. So once it sees the single last teigger go off, it would reset all the triggers internally, then fire off what the trigger is set to command output. Which would be trip, making a combat ability loop.

Lots of great ideas here. Thanks!
Radial is handy but not practical for very long paths.4 votes
What does this mean? What is a ‘touch arrow’ ?
If you have an external bluetooth keyboard, you can use CONTROL+the arrow keys to navigate.
Sometimes I can't tell if a command registered and end up sending it multiple times.3 votes
Ooh, great call. Can’t believe I haven’t had this already.
Well, I actually have multiple worlds for the same MUSH! Alts, you know? Somehow different commands and the like. So maybe do log titles that draw on the nicknames before the address?1 vote
I like the idea of the quad, the way it notifies of activity in your open windows... What I don't like, is that you're limited to only having 4 sessions open at once. Is there any way to let it extend beyond that? Or even if the quad itself can't, at least let me have more worlds connected that just fall off the end of what's visible at a glance.5 votes
You are the first to ask for more than 4 max open worlds! :)
There is no hard limit here, but more connections open will generally mean more battery consumed. I probably went with 4 because it lends itself to the world status image (“quad”) being visible at a glance. Do you commonly find yourself in need of more than 4 open connections?
I have been using mud rammer with VoiceOver for a few days. I noticed that it has trouble handling large amounts of text and reads unnecessary characters. I wish this client could have the option to be completely self voicing so that those of us who are visually impaired or totally blind could have access to things like the move and radial controls without being restricted to voice over command or slow on screen typing. If this isn't possible please work with voiceover so that we can make use of controls like These.4 votes
I’ve increased the timeout delay for the speech synthesizer, which should help MUDRammer more reliably speak longer bits of text. There is not a really good way to have it not speak extra punctuation, though, and other characters that MUDs tend to use. I’m also working on better accessibility for the gesture controls.
I would really like to see this. I use text expander to help me type fasterusing the on screen keyboard but I can't use it in this app because it isn't compatible. I can tell you the SDK for the text expander is free .2 votes
