You can do something like this already today with Aliases. You could create Aliases for the number keys on your keyboard, then each Alias can send one or more commands.

What does this mean? What is a ‘touch arrow’ ?
If you have an external bluetooth keyboard, you can use CONTROL+the arrow keys to navigate.

Custom macros would be great!
The solution splinesoft suggested works if you don't already have different aliases connected to the numbers like I do, but still you're left pressing two keys (num+enter) instead of the normally required one.
While there IS a movement functionality using cmd+arrows, I really love moving around using just the numpad, and having custom f-key macros would be pretty sweet.
