String Encodings

The string encoding determines how MUDRammer interprets the data it receives from, and sends to, the MUD server.

Most MUDs support (only) ASCII encoding. You can specify a different encoding in Settings -> Advanced -> Encoding.

If your MUD server supports it, and particularly if you play in a language other than English, you may benefit by switching to a different encoding.
