  1. Ticker activation / deactivation by alias

Start and stop tickers from the command line. I'd like to be able to start a ticker: 'bash' and have it execute bash now and every n seconds after, until I type 'bashoff' or something and then it stops. (I would find this useful for combar skills with a cooldown time - they should normally be not executed, but then I want to start doing that as often as possible, but be able to stop it again)

  3. Mac app

I wish there was a Mac version of this. The only accessiblemac mud client has disappeared from the App Store and this is the best one I've used otherwise outside of the Windows platform. Voiceover accessibility could use a little work but great in general.

  4. not crash when sending a log :(

MUDRammer always crashes when I tap the option to mail a log, regardless of if I've received text or not. It also doesn't show up in iTunes when I try to use the file sharing option to get the log file off, so I have no way to retrieve logs unless I copy and paste each one by hand to something else.

  5. Extendable Quad

I like the idea of the quad, the way it notifies of activity in your open windows... What I don't like, is that you're limited to only having 4 sessions open at once. Is there any way to let it extend beyond that? Or even if the quad itself can't, at least let me have more worlds connected that just fall off the end of what's visible at a glance.

You are the first to ask for more than 4 max open worlds! :)

There is no hard limit here, but more connections open will generally mean more battery consumed. I probably went with 4 because it lends itself to the world status image (“quad”) being visible at a glance. Do you commonly find yourself in need of more than 4 open connections?

  6. Ability to add aliases from the command line

I’m using MUDRammer on an iPad Pro with the keyboard attachment. It’s great! Thanks for creating it.

One thing that’s missing is the ability to add/overwrite aliases from the command line.

    Thanks for considering it!

  7. I wish MUDRammer would allow you to search for individual MUDs if you had a long list like I do

Sometimes, it might be nice to quickly jump to another MUD without going through a long list of them, so if this app ever gets updated it would be nice to have a search bar.

  9. Option to use touch arrows for navigation

Radial is handy but not practical for very long paths.

  10. Notes Area

There are many things in my favorite MUD that I'd like to remember. Say for instance, a vial that when quaffed paralyses you for a half an hour. Since they all look similar, I've been keeping notes. Problem is I don't always have my notes with me. Having a simple area for notes that I could quickly reference would be great!

  11. I wish mudrammer would add a wait command in the aliases

Its like a command that waits for a certain second before executing a command so that when i execute an alias with multiple commands the commands within the alias will have a 3 second interval between each other

  12. Allow for wildcard matches on triggers for strings of text.

For example, currently aliases can match a string of text in the command using $*$

Making the alias "t" with command "tell $1$ $$" allows the $$ to be the string of text to tell the recipient ($1).

The same for triggers would be nice. So if you wanted to auto-hunt a mob, for example:

Trigger pattern would be "You are certain that $*$ is $2 from here." ($2 being a direction)

And the command would be simply " $2 " to automatically move in the given direction.

So it could match "You are certain that a blue-footed…

  13. Be self-voicing

I have been using mud rammer with VoiceOver for a few days. I noticed that it has trouble handling large amounts of text and reads unnecessary characters. I wish this client could have the option to be completely self voicing so that those of us who are visually impaired or totally blind could have access to things like the move and radial controls without being restricted to voice over command or slow on screen typing. If this isn't possible please work with voiceover so that we can make use of controls like These.

I’ve increased the timeout delay for the speech synthesizer, which should help MUDRammer more reliably speak longer bits of text. There is not a really good way to have it not speak extra punctuation, though, and other characters that MUDs tend to use. I’m also working on better accessibility for the gesture controls.

  14. Selection Stuff

As it is, MUDRammer doesn't really show you which like you've selected, which can be a bit annoying when you have single-lines. Maybe have like a highlight that shows what you picked?

Also, would it be possible to make it so you can select specific words or multiple lines to copy-paste?

  15. The ability to add fonts.

I'd like MUDRammer to use the iOs font book, and/or allow for user added fonts. I'd love to be able to use mono fonts from places like dafont.com (and others) with MUDRammer.

  16. Quick complete

One of the things I like about Mudlet is typing in part of a command and then hitting the up arrow to cycle through times I've written it out before.
Basically, a * search function when you hit the last command button when you have something typed in.

  17. Swiping to change worlds

I like how the quad will indicate if there is activity on another server, but it feels that there are too many steps involved in switching over (tapping the quad to expand the list, then tapping the server, and then having to tap down on my input line once again). Would it be possible to implement a quick swipe to cycle to the next server in the list of what's open, or perhaps an option to tap at the right or left edges of the screen to have it switch to the next in line without having to go through…

  18. Add +/- seconds option to a ticker to make it a little more random

User would set a timer for x minutes but MUDRammer would fire that command more randomly by a few seconds either way
